Restaurant Week location Victor's Bistro makes shrimp pasta

HORRY COUNTY, SC- (WMBF) - Victor's Bistro, one of 14 Grand Strand restaurants participating in Restaurant Week, stopped by WMBF News at 4 p.m. to make one of their signature dishes.

Here's the recipe from Victor's Bistro:

Shrimp Pasta

Fresh local shrimp, sweet corn, Rebecca Farms Oyster mushrooms, cherry tomatoes and fresh tagliatelle

-4 oz cooked tagleatelle pasta( can substitute

-4 oz fresh shrimp peeled and deveined

-6 cherry tomatoes cut in half

-1 ear fresh corn cut off cob

- 1 tablespoon small diced poblano pepper(substitute red bell pepper if you do not want any spice)

- 2 oz Rebecca Farms Oyster mushrooms( can substitute shitaki mushrooms)

- 2oz butter

- 2 clove garlic minced

- .25 cup small diced red onion

- 1 tablespoon chopped parsley

-1/2 cup white wine

- 1/2 fresh lemon

Instructions:

1) Cook pasta following instructions.

2) Saute on medium high heat 1oz butter, garlic, red onion, peppers and corn until onion is translucent add shrimp and cook for 2 minutes.

 

3) Add white wine and reduce by half.  Add pasta, reserved butter, cherry tomatoes, parsley and toss all ingredients together.
