Car crashes into Florence pharmacy

FLORENCE, SC (WMBF) - West Florence Fire and the SC Highway Patrol are investigating after a car crashed into a CVS pharmacy in Florence.

Emergency crews were called to the CVS at the intersection of Second Loop Road and South Cashua Drive around 1:25 p.m. Friday.

Two vehicle were involved in a crash, and one of them collided with a building. One person involved was checked out by EMS on the scene, but injuries did not require transport to a hospital.

"Several people were inside the building at the time of the crash and fortunately no injuries were reported," said Battalion chief Anthony Fox.

The cause of the crash in under investigation.

    The Conway Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating two people who allegedly abandoned their children at a Conway business on June 5. Kiwa Johnathan Davis, 51, of Conway, and Sarah Mae Smith, 36, of Myrtle Beach, are wanted for unlawful neglect of a child.
