Parson's Table cooks Savory Wild Mushrooms for Restaurant Week

HORRY COUNTY, SC- (WMBF) - The Parson's Table, one of 14 Grand Strand restaurants participating in Restaurant Week, stopped by WMBF News at 4 p.m. to make one the dishes being offered at a special price this week.

Here's the recipe from The Parson's Table:

Savory Wild Mushrooms

(Serves 4)

2 Ounces Clarified Butter

1/8 Cup Leeks, Thinly Sliced

1 Tablespoon Chopped Garlic

2 Tablespoon Maitre D' Butter

1 Pound Wild Mushrooms

2 Ounces White Wine

1 Teaspoon Parsley

Season Salt to Taste

In a medium skillet heat clarified butter, leeks and garlic.  Cook until transparent.  Add wild mushrooms and Maitre D' Butter.  Cook until mushrooms are wilted.  Deglaze pan with white wine and Parsley.  Season to taste with season salt.  Spoon evenly on four plates and serve with bread.
