Crady's cooks up Brussels Sprouts for Restaurant Week

Crady’s brings Shrimp and Grits by for Restaurant Week- Part 1

HORRY COUNTY, SC- (WMBF) - Crady's Eclectic Cuisine in Main, one of 14 Grand Strand restaurants participating in Restaurant Week, stopped by WMBF News at 4 p.m. to make one the dishes being offered at a special price this week.

Here's the recipe from Crady's:

Brussels Sprouts with Mandarin Oranges

1 8oz. Can of mandarin oranges

1lb. Fresh young Brussels sprouts

1T. Olive oil

1T. Unsalted butter

8 Inch saucepan

Open can of oranges, drain and set aside

Rinse Brussels sprouts and pat dry

Melt butter in saucepan and add olive oil

Place Brussels sprouts in saucepan and turn to coat evenly

Sauté quickly, until Brussels sprouts are softened

Season to taste with salt & pepper

Deglaze pan with 1-2T. of white wine

Add mandarin oranges and stir gently as to not to break apart orange segment

Serves 4-6 people
