Several new stores coming soon to Sayebrook Town Center

Posted: Updated:

HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) Development is really coming along at the Sayebrook Town Center. A new restaurant chain is one of the first places to put up a "Coming Soon" sign at this center.

Which Wich is a sandwich shop where customers pick all of the ingredients. It will be a new taste in the Grand Strand, since there are only four others in South Carolina. Other businesses are also busy getting ready to set up in the storefronts, like Moe's Southwestern Grill, Massage Envy, and a Chiropractic Center.

A store owner whose place existed before all of the development says he's already seeing an increase in business. Once the stores officially open, he expects even more.

"Easy," said Carter Calabrese, who owns Party Maker. He says he expects to see "another 30 percent more business - it should. You have five new businesses opening up, and you still have Target, Marshalls and the Petco."

WMBF News talked with the general manager of Which Wich and he says they plan to open by the end of January. Management is still in the process of hiring 25 people to work at the location. Even though the shopping center is nearly full with businesses, there's still no word on what business will replace the spot where Atlanta Bread Co. used to be.
