MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – The Myrtle Beach Police Department is asking for the public's help in identifying two suspects in the burglary of several televisions from a Myrtle Beach motel.

On December 29, 2013, police responded to a report of a burglary from a motel in the 2700 block of South Ocean Boulevard, according to a MBPD report. Motel management told police that two men were seen climbing the balcony to a room. The employee noticed that three televisions were missing from the room, and there was pry damage to the sliding glass door.

The responding officer reviewed surveillance video for the hotel, and saw one man enter the hotel on the third floor of the parking garage, and then leave a minute later. According to the police report, about an hour and a half later, another man entered the same area, grabbed a cart from the hall, and then left with the cart, containing what appeared to be TVs, covered with a blanket.

The hotel employee did not recognize either suspect as guests of the hotel.

The MBPD is asking anyone who recognizes either suspect to contact them and reference case #13-026423.
