Georgetown Co. deputies arrest 4 for burglary

GEORGETOWN, SC (WMBF) - Four people are behind bars, suspected of burglarizing Stein, Inc. on Highmarket Street in Georgetown County.

Georgetown County deputies spotted a car near an office trailer around 11:30 p.m. on Dec. 29, 2013. The three men and woman in the car - 24-year-old Ashton David McElveen of Georgetown, 20-year-old Ryan O'Neil Woodruff of Andrews, 25-year-old Joshua Andrew McBride of Georgetown, and 18-year-old Hunter Brandy Haselden of Hemingway - were arrested.

McElveen was charged with trespassing, petit larceny, and second degree burglary. Woodruff, McBride, and Haselden were charged with receiving stolen goods and second degree burglary.
Deputies later learned that three of them were involved in a home burglary on Dec. 30, 2013.

Woodruff is charged with first degree burglary. McElveen and McBride are charged with second
degree burglary.

Further investigation led deputies to discover that Woodruff and McBride burglarized a residence on Highmarket Street on Dec. 19, 2013. As a result, Woodruff and McBride each face an additional burglary charge.
