MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - The Myrtle Beach Police Department confirms a man wanted for attempted murder was arrested Wednesday without incident.

Daniel Robert Buehler, 52, was wanted for two counts of attempted murder, burglary and possession of a knife during the commission of a felony.

MBPD distributed a news release Wednesday, seeking information on Buehler's whereabouts. According to an update from Captain David Knipes, he was arrested the same day without incident.

A Myrtle Beach Police report states that officers responded to an assault in the area where Mr. Buehler lives around 11:30 p.m. on Tuesday, January 7.

They found a couple, and friends of Buehler, who had been allegedly attacked with a knife. The man said Buehler barged into their home and pinned him down on the kitchen floor threatening to kill him.

Buehler allegedly approached the woman with his knife when she threatened to call police.

The man suffered a laceration to his hand during the struggle, but was able to force Buehler out of their home with a chair.

Outside on their porch, Buehler then broke the windows of their home until he saw the blue lights of a police cruiser.
