SCDCA launches new online complaint system

COLOMBIA, SC (WMBF) - The South Carolina Department of Consumer Affairs will launch its new online complaint system this Thursday, January 9, at 10:30 a.m.

This new complaint system features tools for consumers and businesses alike. Speakers Carri Grube Lybarker, Administrator of South Carolina Department of Consumer Affairs and Corinne Blaschek, Director of Marketing and Portal Operations will discuss the value and improvements of the new system and provide a live demonstration of key complaint system functions.

SCDCA aims to protect consumers from inequities in the marketplace through advocacy, complaint mediation, enforcement and education. The South Carolina Department of Consumer Affairs is the state's consumer protection agency.
