MB Police search for suspect in LaQuinta Hotel burglary

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - The Myrtle Beach Police Department needs help in identifying the above subjects.

The suspect in the dark hooded sweatshirt is wanted regarding an armed robbery that occurred on January 5, 2014 about 9 p.m. at the LaQuinta Hotel on 21st Avenue N. in Myrtle Beach.

A woman working at the front desk told police she was folding towels when a black male around 5'6" tall and weighing 125 pounds came in, pointed a gun at her and demanded money from the register.

A second suspect, a black male around 6' tall and 150 pounds, was holding a man at gunpoint at the front desk.

One of the men was wearing a sweatshirt that appears to have a Juggalo design, associated with the rock group Insane Clown Posse. If located, notify Detective Michael Quinn at 843-918-1910 or the on-duty detective.

The white male subject in the second photo is a victim of the robbery but is not identified at this time. He is wanted for questioning about the case in addition to checking on his welfare.

    A threat was discovered written on a bathroom wall at Conway High School, according to a post on the school’s Facebook page. The threat was “a derogatory statement about a teacher,” and was investigated by school officials and law enforcement.
