MURRELLS INLET, SC (WMBF) - Want to test your dog's agility, speed and overall physical skill set? Pure bred and mixed breed dogs of all sizes, shapes and levels of agility expertise come to run, jump, balance and climb for some four-footed fun this weekend. The competition will be held at A Dog's Way Inn in Murrells Inlet January 10-12.

A Way to Play, the Myrtle Beach area's only dog agility club, hosts this weekend's competition on Friday January 10 from 5 p.m. - 8 p.m.; on Saturday January 11 from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.; and on Sunday January 12th from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. at A Dog's Way Inn, 761 Pendergrass Avenue (behind T-Bones Steak House), Murrells Inlet, SC.

Teams will race against the time clock buzzer and each other as they maneuver obstacle courses filled with hurdles, weave poles, teeter-totters, A-frames and tunnels on the only dog agility field in South Carolina sanctioned by Canine Performance Events, Inc.

With over 150 fast-paced races each day, dog agility is a great spectator sport and the public is welcome to cheer and watch at no charge. Refreshments will be available at Shell Crackers, the on-site dog-friendly restaurant. Call (843) 357-4545 for more information.
