Support Freedom Readers at 'Books and Boogie' event at Dead Dog Saloon

MURRELLS INLET, SC (WMBF) - The Dead Dog Saloon of Murrells Inlet is putting on a jammin' fun night to benefit bright young minds in the community. Come for the music, books, art, food and stay for the fun! The event will run Monday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. January 13.

Local authors will be signing their books during the event. Come by and see Paul Grimshaw of Travelers of the Gray Dawn, Troy Nooe author of Ocean Forest: Murder in Myrtle Beach, Karen Edgar of My Gramma lives in the Jungle, Bob Freeland of Blance and Gordon Mooneyhan, author of The Southern Railway Dining Car Cookbook, A historic reference. Come out to support these authors and let them inspire the young minds of the community.

A buffet dinner will be served later in the evening and will include seafood, beef, chicken, ribs, gumbo and all the side fixin's for a ticket price of $35. While you enjoy the buffet, Phyllis Tannerfrye, Michael Sokolic & the Lucky Strike Band and Paul Grimshaw will entertain the event.

Tickets can be purchases at Dead Dog Saloon in Murrells Inlet, Revive your Style in Litchfield or Signature Custom Signs in Socastee. For information call 843-421-4589.
