HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) – Police say that a 36-year-old woman with urgent medical needs who walked away from her caretakers' residence on Saturday night has been located in good condition.
Rachel Provow walked away from the residence on Burcale Road Circle in Myrtle Beach between 6 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. on December 28, stated a Horry County Police official on the department's Facebook page.
On Tuesday, the department updated their Facebook page, stating that she was found and in good condition. She did walk away on her own, the post states, and detectives determined that no crime was committed.
She previously walked away from another caretaker's home eight days earlier, and was located shortly after.
Provow has urgent medical needs and was not carrying her medication.
