Conway police have charged two Conway men in unrelated cases for allegedly having sex with minors.

Charles Dewayne McDonald, 36, of the 900 block of Forest Loop Road, Conway is charged with second-degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor, under 16-years-old. He was arrested Friday and booked into jail at about 11 a.m. Bond was set at $30,000 and he was still in jail Monday.

A Conway police report says Conway police went to Grand Strand Hospital Nov. 15 where they met a 15-year-old girl, her mother, father and a representative from the Rape Crisis Center.

The report says the suspect was visiting friends where he, the girl and her family watched movies.

The report says the young girl asked to borrow the suspect's phone so she could listen to music before going to bed. The girl told police her mother also went to bed, but the suspect said he was tired and planned to stay at the residence awhile.

According to the report at about 5:30 a.m. the next morning he went into her room and said, "Are you naked. If not, be naked by the time I come back."

The warrant says the suspect had sexual intercourse with the girl.

In the second case, Shane Dywayne Hucks, 24, of the 1000 block of Gasoline Alley, Conway is charged with two counts of criminal sexual conduct with a minor, 11 to 14-years-old; unlawful dissemination of obscene material to someone under 18-years-old; and failure to appear, according to Horry County jail logs.

He was arrested this past week and taken to jail. His bond was set at $60,000 and he was still in jail Monday.

According to his arrest warrant, the suspect is believed to have had sex with the 11-year-old girl on five different occasions between June 13, 2012, and Aug. 31, 2012.

According to a Conway police report, the victim's mother called police after concerned friends and family told her that her daughter's Facebook page contained explicit photographs, including one of a man's anatomy.

The mom said she signed onto her daughter's Facebook page and saw the picture that had been reported to her.

The report says the woman confronted her daughter, who told her who the man is and also told her that they had had sexual intercourse in the past. The young girl told police she visited a cousin's apartment on June 12, 2012, when the suspect held her down against her will and had sex with her. She said he performed sexual intercourse two more times in the next two months, according to the police report. She told police that she and the suspect had sex three more times in July and August of that year, but said the sex acts were consensual the last two times.

The mom showed the policeman the picture from the Facebook page, which she had saved on her phone, according to the report.

The victim accessed her inbox and let the policeman see conversations between her and the suspect, the report says. The picture in question was sent to the girl earlier this month, according to the report. The report says the girl gave police the name and date of birth of the suspect. Police checked and found he had a Conway City Court bench warrant.

Police found the suspect at his residence and arrested him for the outstanding bench warrant for failure to appear. He was taken to jail this past week.
