TD Bank raises $3,671 for Front Street Fire relief with 'Coins for Caring'


GEROGETOWN, SC (WMBF) - Georgetown County United Way received $3,671 for its Front Street Fire relief initiatives from TD Bank and its "Coins for Caring" program.

The program allows for customers to donate loose change through the bank's Penny Arcade. In addition to the funds donated through the "Coins for Caring" program, TD Bank gave a gift of $1,500 to the relief efforts.

"TD Bank is proud to be able to give back to the rebuilding efforts in the downtown Georgetown through this contribution, and we are grateful to our customers and community members who donated," said Scott Sharp, North Coast Regional Vice President, TD Bank.
