More than 1,100 set to receive Clemson degrees

CLEMSON, S.C. (AP) - More than 1,000 students are graduating from Clemson University.

The school says 1,100 students are expected to receive degrees Thursday at two ceremonies at Littlejohn Coliseum.

The services are the last for outgoing university President James Barker, who is leaving Clemson next month. Jim Clements, who has been president of West Virginia University since 2009, will be Clemson's next president.

Clemson says Duke Energy Chairman Jim Rogers is receiving an honorary degree at Thursday's graduation.
