MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – A 20-year-old Myrtle Beach man was arrested and charged with criminal sexual conduct with a minor after the victim told police she believes he drugged her and sexually assaulted her.
On Friday, December 13, Horry County Police responded to a Conway hospital, where the victim said she was sexually assaulted against her will while she was incapacitated on an unknown drug, according to the HCPD report.
The victim said she went to the apartment of the subject, later identified as 20-year-old Dashandre Jacorey Sampson, with the intention of drinking alcohol and doing drugs, because she was upset with her father.
The victim told police she saw Sampson pour an unknown brown liquid into her drink, which she then drank. A short time later she began to feel funny and was having trouble standing. The last thing she remembers was the subject beginning to pull her pants down.
She woke up on the floor without her pants on, got dressed, and Sampson drove her back, the police report states. She immediately contacted her mother, who drove her to the hospital.
Officers were able to identify the suspect from information provided by the victim, and Sampson was arrested. He was booked into J. Reuben Long Detention Center on Saturday and charged with criminal sexual conduct – third degree, criminal sexual conduct with a minor under 16, and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Bond for these three charges was set at $200,000.
