Showers are coming to an end

HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF)- The showers that we saw during the morning have exited the coast allowing some drier and cooler air to filter in. The could will gradually break down through the day with some sun expected during the afternoon. Sunday will be cooler with afternoon highs only around 60°.

The jacket will once again be needed for Monday morning as temperatures drop to around the freezing mark behind the front. With sunny skies on Monday, afternoon highs will only climb into the middle 50s.

A warming trend will take hold through the remainder of the week with mostly sunny skies. We can expect the return of the 70s by the time next weekend rolls around!
