MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - Notre Dame's fall semester ended Friday, and now former Myrtle Beach star Everett Golson has been admitted back into the university.
Golson was suspended for cheating on an exam. He applied for re-admission just a few weeks ago.
University Vice President of Public Affairs and Communications Paul Browne announced that effective today he is now back as a student.
Head Coach Brian Kelly said that Golson wouldn't be allowed to work with the team until spring practices begin. He last suited up for the Fighting Irish in the BCS National Championship game in January.
Golson tweeted, "Feels good to be back. Time to make the most of it."
