West Florence Fire battles blaze in shed

FLORENCE, SC (WMBF) - West Florence Fire has extinguish the blaze that consumed a shed Tuesday night, but the shed is a total loss.

The shed on Patton Drive was fully engulfed in flames when fire crews arrived around 8 p.m.

Patton Drive, which is right off of Second Loop Road, was closed while they put it out, but the road reopened shortly after 9 p.m.

It's unclear what started the fire, but the homeowners were not home at the time.

Fire crews say it was a total loss. The family lost a lot of their possessions and their Christmas presents.
