Woman reports break-in at apartment near CCU

Posted: Updated:

CONWAY, SC (WMBF) – Horry County Police responded to a report of an attempted burglary at an apartment near Coastal Carolina University Tuesday night.

When police arrived at the apartment at 300 Patriots Hollow Way, the victim said she was in her bedroom when she heard what sounded like someone moving her television in the living room. The victim got up and locked her bedroom door, making a lot of noise in the process.

She told police that she heard the subject in the living room leave, and when she came out, she found her TV had been unplugged and moved, and her internet router was also unplugged. She said her front door was unlocked.

No fingerprints or other evidence was recovered, police stated.
