SCHP: Accident with injuries on 501 NB at the Tanger Outlets

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - According to information from the South Carolina Highway Patrol,  an accident with injuries occurred on Highway 501 at the Tanger Outlets Tuesday evening.

The accident occurred in the northbound lanes at about 4:55 p.m., and traffic was blocked in both directions by the accident and emergency vehicles.

At about 5:15 p.m., one northbound lane of Highway 501 appeared to be open, but traffic remained backed up on Highway 501 to the Forestbrook Road overpass as of 5:40 p.m.
