HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) – For the second time in 16 hours, fire crews responded to Reavis Lane to fight a mobile home fire early Saturday morning.

Fire crews arrived on the scene of the fire, across from Arrowhead Golf Course, at about 4:30 a.m. Saturday. A WMBF News photographer at the scene talked to the people who called 911, and they say they heard a loud boom Friday morning and again Saturday morning.

Crews responded to a fire at the same structure at about 8 a.m. Friday. Douglas Cline, Assistant Chief for Horry County Fire Rescue, was on the scene and  told our WMBF News photographer that crews arrived at the house about five minutes after the emergency call.

The source of that fire was in the center portion of the home, and destroyed the home's porch. The house is not livable now, and the female occupant has been displaced. The woman had minor injuries.

The cause of both fires is now under investigation.
