Deja Vu: CCU ready for playoff rematch

CCU happy to work Thanksgiving

CONWAY - Perhaps it wasn't the seed or maybe even the matchup many expected, but Coastal Carolina finds itself in the midst of a playoff rematch this weekend, hosting MEAC champion Bethune-Cookman. Last year the Chants went down to Daytona Beach and won 24-14 for the school's first ever playoff win.

This year, the two squads have had near identical seasons, both winning their respective conferences, and sporting 10-2 records. Many players returned this year for both teams as well, so Coastal doesn't expect either side to have the upper hand in this one.

However, CCU is just happy to still be playing at this point. Only 24 teams are left standing at the FCS level, and after Saturday that number will go down to 16. The Chants are just making it their goal to be one of them. Click above to hear from CCU head coach Joe Moglia.

Saturday's game will kickoff at Brooks Stadium at 1:00.
