WMBF - The South Carolina Basketball Coaches Association's first batch of basketball rankings have been released for the 2013-14 season. Back-to-back defending 3A state champion Hartsville pulls the highest honor for area teams, checking in at number one to start the year. Complete rankings for boys and girls clubs are listed below:

The Noizy Oyster is at 101 South Kings Highway in Myrtle Beach.  It's known for casual seafood.     New data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reveal how bad the drug problem has become in the USA. Drug overdoses killed more than 72,000 Americans in 2017, according to the CDC.

    FLORENCE, SC (WMBF) — Police are asking for the public's help in identifying a man that is accused of shoplifting from the Walmart on 2014 South Irby Street in mid-July.  The man, pictured below, is wanted for questioning by the Florence City Police Department.  If you have any information about the suspect or his whereabouts you are asked to contact the Florence Police Department at 843-665-3191.
