Jenna DeAngelis began her career in journalism working on the Assignment Desk at CBS/CW Philly, which began as an internship and transitioned to a career upon graduation at the University of Delaware.
After over a year of invaluable experience working at CBS, Jenna made the move to sunny South Carolina to join the WMBF News Team as the weekday morning Traffic Reporter and Video Journalist.
Jenna's journey in TV began in college with a total of 5 internships, each one proving to Jenna that her dream is a career as a reporter. She interned at Paladino Casting, News 12 Long Island, Fox 29 Philadelphia, CBS/CW Philly and Delaware First Media. Jenna has experience working in many breaking news situations at CBS such as Hurricane Sandy, the Penn State/Jerry Sandusky Trials and The Boston Marathon Bombing, to name a few.
At the University of Delaware she studied Mass Communications, concentrating in Production/Broadcasting with a dual minor in Theatre Studies and Journalism. Jenna is happiest when is busy so, she was involved in many organizations in college including the student-run TV station, STN49. Jenna loves to dance and is a former member of the National championship, University of Delaware Dance team.
A proud New Yorker, born and raised in Long Island, she loves music, baking, spending time with her friends and family and enjoy life! Her favorite thing to do is travel and she studied abroad in London. Jenna is looking forward to spending time in the community getting to know everyone and everything the Grand Strand and Pee Dee has to offer.
