Woman arrested for credit card fraud

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – The Myrtle Beach Police Department arrested a woman for credit card fraud stemming from an incident that occurred on October 16.

The victim said her daughter went to Walmart to use her pre-paid Walmart debit card. Later in the day, her daughter could not find the card. The victim canceled the card, and when she received a new one, she found that at 7:45 p.m. on October 16, the card was used to make an unauthorized purchase of $113.96.

Police went to Walmart to obtain images of the woman who made the unauthorized purchases. Shequita Washington, 26-years-old, was arrested in connection to this incident on Tuesday and faces charges of credit card fraud.
