State agency to assess Conway Police Dept.

PUBLIC NOTICE from Conway Police:

Conway Police Department is scheduled for an on-site assessment from December 11th, 2013 through December 12th, 2013 as part of a program to achieve state accreditation by verifying it meets professional standards.

Administered by the South Carolina Law Enforcement Accreditation, Inc., the accreditation program requires agencies to comply with state-of-the-art standards in four basic areas: policy and procedures, administration, operations, and support services.
