Workout Wednesday: Finding your target max heart rate

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – Today on WMBF News at 4 p.m., Drew Basilicato stopped by to talk about the benefits and drawbacks of working out during different parts of the day.

No matter when you work out, finding an ideal heart rate during rigorous activity is important, Drew says.

He provided the following formula for people to consider what they are doing is "rigorous."

(220 – Your Age) x 0.7 = Target Heart Rate
