HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) – The Grand Strand and Pee Dee both saw snow flurries Tuesday night.

There were more than 1,000 homes in Clio in Marlboro County without power through early Wednesday morning, according to the Duke Energy website. They reported as of 7:45 a.m. power was restored to all except two customers in Cilo.

Temperatures are in the mid 30's at the beach, and the low 30's inland. Wind chills are in the mid 20's Wednesday morning, where they will stay until around 9 a.m.

Thursday morning will be even colder, and the Pee Dee and Grand Strand could see record-breaking low temperatures.
