Drug team seizes gun, cocaine, pot from Timmonsville home

FLORENCE COUNTY, SC (WMBF) - Perry Deyon Gilyard, 36, was booked into the Florence County Detention Center on Nov.7 and released less than 21 hours later.

He is charged with trafficking in crack cocaine, trafficking in cocaine, and possession with intent to distribute marijuana.

Florence County's Narcotics Investigators and the ProActive Criminal Enforcement (PACE) Team arrested Gilyard after they executed a search warrant at his Timmonsville home. They discovered more than 25 grams of crack cocaine, more than 26 grams of cocaine, and more than 340 grams of marijuana, cash, drug paraphernalia, items used to facilitate or distribute illicit drugs, and a firearm.

The team also seized two motorcycles and two vehicles.
