Run-off election for Timmonsville Mayor set for Nov. 19

TIMMONSVILLE, SC (WMBF) - The director of the Florence Election Commission confirmed that there will be a runoff for the Town of Timmonsville mayor.

The runoff will be between Darrick Jackson, who received 199 votes and 46.71 percent of the vote, and Billy Fowler, who got 116 votes and 27.23 percent of the vote, according to official results release by the Florence County Voter Registration and Election Commission.

The run-off election between Jackson and Fowler will be held on November 19, according to the commission.

There will be no run-off for the Timmonsville Town Council – the three candidates with the most votes are Woodrow Thomas Jr. with 261 votes, Penny Hayes with 201 votes, and James 'Jim' D. Pigate, Sr. with 178 votes.
