BRUNSWICK COUNTY, SC (WMBF) – Brunswick County detectives are asking the public's help locating a man wanted on several active warrants who may be in the Grand Strand area.
Detectives believed 28-year-old Gregory McCourt may have been in the company of a Sunset Beach woman who went missing on October 29, according to a news release from the Brunswick County Sheriff's Office. The woman was safely located over the weekend.
McCourt, who may be in the Little River, North Myrtle Beach, or Myrtle Beach area, is wanted and has active warrants for felony probation violation, financial card theft, and three counts of financial card fraud, according to the release.
McCourt is described as a 5-foot-10-inch tall, 145-pound white male with brown hair and brown eyes. Officials state he has several tattoos, including a cross on his back, a star on his right and left hands, a large blue symbol on his right arm, and a tribal band around his right wrist. He also has a surgical scar on his stomach.
