SCHSL Playoff Matchups Announced

HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) - With the high school football playoffs beginning Friday, teams throughout the Pee Dee and Grand Strand will try and make a push for the state title. Highlights of all the games can be seen on Extra Point. Matchups for all local teams are as follows:

SCHSL Class 3A Football Playoff Pairings

Hilton Head at Socastee (#1 in Region VII; home field advantage throughout lower state playoffs)
Midland Valley at Hartsville
Marlboro County at Swansea
Berkeley at Myrtle Beach
Darlington at Strom Thurmond
North Myrtle Beach at Orangeburg-Wilkinson

    MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) — Police are attempting to identify a man accused of using counterfeit bills at the same Ocean Boulevard convenience store on consecutive days.  Police say the man used a forged $20 bill in late July at the store in the area of 74th Avenue North and North Ocean Boulevard.
