The crows arrived at the Lakewood Camping Resort Wednesday for the annual American Heart Association Beach Ride, which takes place from October 30 to November 3 this year.

The 20-mile ride is led by outdoorsman and host of Best of America by Horseback, Tom Seay.

According to the event's website, the $250,000 fundraising goal has already been surpassed by over $7,000.

"The funds raised will support research projects and educational programs to benefit the American Heart Association," says Sara Nelson, director of development at the American Heart Association. "People across the nation come together to raise funds for this event and we are expected to raise over a quarter of a million dollars."
