I can't think of a government initiative that has been a bigger disaster with its rollout than the Affordable Health Care Act.
HealthCare.gov may have had millions of people attempt to view the site when it first launched, but if success is determined by the number of people who actually signed up then affordable health care is not the panacea that many envisioned.
President Obama and others who are responsible for the initiative are now saying that the issues will be resolved by the end of November. How can it take more than a month to fix the problems yet many state managed sites operating so efficiently? That is unacceptable.
HealthCare.gov is the latest example of the cluster that we can expect when the federal government is responsible for the project.
