Crashed car catches fire in front of Gold Club, man charged with DUI

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – A man crashed his vehicle in front of the Gold Club Saturday morning, and it soon after caught fire, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol.

Around 6:26 a.m. Saturday, 22-year-old Ryan Lopez from Myrtle Beach crashed his Ford Mustang crossing the railroad tracks in front of the Gold Club in Myrtle Beach. Lopez's car caught fire, and a passerby pulled him from the car.

No one was injured, but Lopez is in custody and charged with DUI and simple possession.
