CCU, Big South ready for season tip

Big South Media Days come to Myrtle Beach

MYRTLE BEACH - College basketball begins in two weeks, and Coastal Carolina will begin the season at Akron. But on Thursday, the Chants got to take the temperature of the rest of the league as Myrtle Beach played host to Big South Media Day.

A lot of talent returns to many of the teams on the men's side of things this year, and the media poll has shown Coastal Carolina is projected to finish third in the south division. The Chants lose the majority of their scoring with the loss of Anthony Raffa and Kierre Greenwood, but head coach Cliff Ellis isn't worried about that.
