GCSO: Jewelry store in Pawleys Island burglarized overnight

PAWLEYS ISLAND, SC (WMBF) – Georgetown County Sheriff's Office is looking for the suspect or suspects wanted in connection with the burglary of a jewelry store in Pawleys Island Thursday morning.

At about 4 a.m., deputies responded to Christopher's Fine Jewelry in the 11400 block of Ocean Highway after an alarm activation, according to a news release from GCSO. The front doors had been shattered; deputies determined two glass cases had been damaged, and an undisclosed amount of jewelry was missing.

Anyone that can identify the suspects of has information about the burglary is asked to call GCSO at (843) 546-5101. Anonymous tips can be texted to 274637 followed by the word "GCSOTIP" and the message.
