Horry County man charged after juvenile reports abuse over six-year period

An Horry County man remains behind bars on $10,000 bond following charges of criminal sexual conduct with a minor, according to Horry County police records.

Earl Bradley Mitchell, 46, of Galivants Ferry, has been charged with criminal sexual conduct with a minor, second degree. He was booked at 8:15 a.m. Wednesday at J. Reuben Long Detention Center.

According to a police report, the victim, a 10-year-old girl, told an Horry County investigator that she'd been the victim of criminal sexual conduct for the past six years.

The report said the incidents occurred between January 2007 and Sept. 10, 2013.

The events were documented in a voluntary statement. There was no further information in the report.
