NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – Have a space in your house full of old things that needs cleaned out? The Keep North Myrtle Beach Beautiful Commission is holding the annual Citywide Home Cleanup Day on Saturday, November 2 from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m.
This day gives North Myrtle Beach residents the chance to clean out closets, attics, garages, and storage sheds, Residents can get rid of unwanted items like appliances, TV's, furniture, paint, pesticides, chemicals, oil, old tires and more.
No construction debris or medical waste will be accepted.
If you have furniture that can still be used, that can be donated to the Salvation Army, Goodwill Industries or a local church, most organizations will pick up the items from your home.
The City will provide a special collection service for furniture, appliances and other bulky items. They should be placed curbside for pickup. If you plan to utilize this service, you need to call 843-280-5500 prior to placing those items to ensure prompt pickup.
