MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - If you are a fan of the TV show House Hunters, get ready to see some familiar sights on a new episode to air on HGTV on April 16. The show wrapped up filming in Myrtle Beach in October 2013.
More than a million people watch each episode of the show, which follows future home buyers throughout the process of buying a new home.
The episode shot in Myrtle Beach features a couple from Kentucky looking to buy a new house at the beach. Due to confidentiality agreements, we will not know much about the episode or which home the couple bought, but we did get a few hints.
"Kingston Plantation was their main focus because they really did want to live on the beach and see the ocean," said Bryan Boodro the real estate agent who helped the couple find a home. "They were around the $350,000 price range, and again from there you're going to have to watch the show to see what they chose."
The show also shot a Buick car commercial on the Grand Strand highlighting some of the best attractions like Brookgreen Gardens, the Skywheel, and more. The commercial will air during the Myrtle Beach episode which Boodro said will benefit everyone on the Grand Strand showing what the area has to offer.
The episode airs on April 16 at 10 p.m.
