Report: 3 men break into Myrtle Beach home, teen shot in arm

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – Three men broke into an apartment Thursday night, shot one person in the arm, and hit another in the head with a gun, the victims told police.

According to those victims, two men were at a home on 3rd Avenue North when their friend came in and said someone in a car pointed a gun at him while he was leaving a house down the street.

Fifteen minutes later, three men kicked in the door of the apartment, and one of the suspects shot an 18-year-old victim in the arm, the police report states. A 39-year-old victim was hit in the head with the gun. The suspects ordered two of the victims to lie on floor and told the third they "better give it up." The victim said he didn't know what the man was talking about.

The three suspects searched the house and left, the report states. The victims didn't know if the men took anything or not. One of the victims left the house shortly after the suspects left, and was not located.

Police arrived and took written statements from two of the victims. Both refused to be transported by EMS.
