GARDEN CITY, SC (WMBF) - There's something fowl happening at Seaside Elementary Friday!

Students were encouraged to dress up as the members of the hit A&E show "Duck Dynasty" on  Friday, and some students went all out with their costumes. Even Seaside Elementary principal Beth Selander came dressed as Ms. Kay Robertson.

Duck Dynasty Day grew from an article used for staff development which showed five leadership lessons that can be taught by geese. Some examples from the article include: "Fly Together," "Stay in formation," and "Leave no Goose Behind."

One teacher says they have been "honking" for each other ever since, which developed into Duck Dynasty day.
