COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) - Gov. Nikki Haley raised $950,000 over the past three months and her Democratic challenger Vincent Sheheen raised $565,000 as they prepare for a rematch in the governor's race next year.
The full reports for either candidate weren't available online Thursday, which was the deadline to report third quarter fundraising totals.
Haley now has $3.2 million in her campaign account to spend, while Sheheen has more than $1 million in the bank.
Sheheen's campaign says he had more than 1,100 contributors over the three months, and 97 percent of them came from South Carolina.
The two candidates also faced off in 2010, with Haley winning the election with 51 percent of the vote. Sheheen received 47 percent.
