Ten locals headed to Shrine Bowl

WMBF - The rosters have been released, and ten area players will get to play in this year's Shrine Bowl game at Gibbs Stadium in Spartanburg. After all of the postseason play wraps up and state champions throughout South Carolina are crowned, the 77th annual game will be held on December 21st, pitting the best from the Palmetto State against the best from the Tar Heel State.

Some of the best from the Pee Dee and Grand Strand will have a part in this year's matchup, featuring Joe Blue and Damu Ford from Dillon, Hunter Renfrow from Socastee and Donnell Stanley from Latta. Area coaches Jody Jenerette (Aynor) and Ken Cribb (Hemingway) will also be on the sidelines for this game. Below is a list of all local participants:
