Ripley's Haunted Adventure & Ripley's Asylum delivering scares

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – If you want to treat yourself to a night of terror, Ripley's Haunted Adventure on Ocean Blvd. has made changes for the 2013 Halloween season, and they are currently open, delivering scares.

The Haunted Adventure is open in the Old Grimsby & Streaper Casket Company, a firm that was run by two men since 1891 until they mysteriously vanished, according to a spokesperson from Ripley's. The casket company has been renovated and added to, to create Ripley's Asylum.

The Ripley's spokesperson says the asylum is "deeper and darker than any other you may have experienced", where Dr. Norman Kilt performs surgical experiments to treat and cure the criminally insane.

You can tour the asylum Wednesday thru Friday beginning at 4 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday beginning at 1 p.m.

For more information on the Ripley's Haunted Adventure and the new Ripley's Asylum call 843-448-2331 or visit www.ripleys.com/myrtlebeach/.
