Three injured in head-on crash in Florence

FLORENCE, SC (WMBF) - Three injured people were transported to nearby hospitals after a head-on, two-car crash in Florence, stated West Florence Fire Department Captain Anthony Fox.

Captain Fox stated that at about 12:15 p.m. Friday, the department dispatched one fire engine, a rescue truck, and 10 firefighters to the crash on Hoffmeyer Road.

Firefighters assisted Florence County EMS paramedics and Darlington County EMS with treating and packaging the injured people.

The South Carolina Highway Patrol remained on scene to investigate the cause of the collision.
