Fresh Market hiring 80-90 for new store in Myrtle Beach

The following is a news release from the Myrtle Beach Chamber of Commerce:

The Fresh Market Seeking Employees to Staff New Myrtle Beach Location

 

Who:     The Fresh Market, an upscale grocery store

 

What:   The Fresh Market is holding a career open house and interviewing candidates to fill the 80 to 90 positions needed for its new location in Myrtle Beach. This store will be located in the Northwood Plaza Shopping Center, at 7753 N. Kings Hwy., in Myrtle Beach. Candidates should submit their applications online at careers.thefreshmarket.com and use keyword search 180 to be directed to the Myrtle Beach jobs. Prior to the interview, all candidates are required to apply online. Assistant department managers, department specialists, bakers and meat cutters are needed to staff the store.

    The Pawleys Island Chapel is being carefully moved across the street Friday so that repairs can be made on the building’s foundation. The church, which has been in the Pawleys Island community for about 50 years, is being lifted and moved across Myrtle Avenue between the North and South Causeways.
