NMB: 10th Annual Irish Italian International Festival in full swing

NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – The 10th Annual Irish Italian International Festival is in full swing on Main Street in North Myrtle Beach until 4 p.m. on Saturday.

The event will be held rain or shine with food from local restaurants, two stages with live entertainment, street performers, arts and crafts vendors and dance groups.

Restaurants providing food will compete for the titles of Best Entree, Best Decorated and Best Dessert. There will be a spaghetti eating competition for festival attendees.

A children's area has a variety of entertainment including a magician, balloon art and inflatable jumping fun.

Entertainment Schedule

Stage 1 - 421 Main Street (in front of Flynn's Irish Tavern)
10 a.m. - Beach Brass Quintet
10:30 a.m. - Opening Ceremonies (Port City Pipes and Drums)
10:45 a.m. - Beach Brass Quintet
11:30 a.m. - Band on the Rum
1:15 p.m. - Port City Pipes and Drums
1:45 - 4 p.m. - Willie Lynch Band

Stage 2 - 400 Main Street (in front of Hope Taylor & Co.)
10 a.m. - Dale Mosher
10:30 a.m. - Opening Ceremonies (Port City Pipes and Drums)
10:45 a.m. - Dale Mosher
11:15 a.m. - Arts Alive
12 p.m. - Claudio's Spaghetti Eating Contest, sponsored by Villa Romana
1 - 4 p.m. - Dwayne Dopsie & the Zydeco Hellraisers
